The participants will learn the following: the Anglo-Canadian law-making systems comprised of common law, equity, legislation, regulations, and judicial interpretation; the Constitution of Canada; federal and provincial jurisdiction over family law; marriage and divorce; parenting, custody, and access; child support and the Child Support Guidelines; spousal support and the Spousal Support Advisory Guidelines; property and the equalization of net family property; domestic contracts and Separation Agreements; family dispute resolution processes; the administration of family justice in Ontario; and the enforcement and variation of agreements, orders, and awards.
