In the Family Arbitration course participants will learn the following: alternative dispute resolution (ADR); intake and assisting prospective participants in making an informed process choice; screening for family arbitration; preparing the Family Arbitration Agreement; conducting a Pre-Arbitration Conference; opening the arbitration; managing the arbitration hearing; evidence in an arbitration context; decision-making; preparing an arbitration Award; post-arbitration proceedings; continuing learning as a family arbitrator; professional development; and standards of practice.
